Dr. Zach Lynn
Assistant Principal
Dr. Zach Lynn is an Assistant Principal, and supervises Programming, Operations, and some instruction, with a speciality in the social and behavioral sciences and computer science.
Dr. Lynn is an experienced and tenured Assistant Principal, having served for seven years at Lehman High School in the Bronx, where he was primarily an AP of Programming, Operations, and Mathematics. He also oversaw the school's Research Program, and supervised Social Studies, ELA, and Guidance at different times throughout his tenure. Additionally, he taught SUNY classes in Economics and Statistics. Before coming to Lehman, he taught for 10 years at Bronx Science, where he coordinated the Social Science Research Program, and taught quantitative methods and AP Economics, as well as coached the Ethics Bowl Team. His students won awards in regional and national research competitions.
Dr. Lynn has an M.A. and Ph.D. from Columbia University, a B.A. Summa Cum Laude from Hofstra University, and advanced certificates from Mercy College and Molloy University. He holds NYS certifications in Social Studies, Computer Science, ENL, and Mathematics.
