High School Guidance

Counselor Córdoba is the Bilingual (Spanish/English) high school counselor at CSS. She is a product of the NYC public school system and a born and raised New Yorker. She has been professionally prepared and certified by the state of New York in both School Counseling and in Rehabilitation Counseling. She helps students with their school needs through a comprehensive counseling program focused on successful academic student development. If she does not have the answer, she will connect you with the person who does.

The CSS counseling office is committed to providing a supportive environment in which students are motivated to reach their potential. Students’ successful performance and emotional well being are our goals, which are obtained in collaboration with the whole CSS community: parents & guardians, students, teachers, and the administration. Students should see their counselor as a resource to help them develop and acquire different skills and knowledge on how to excel at CSS. The counseling program is continually evolving and focusing on three areas of student growth: Academia, Personal/Social, and Career/University.

The high school counseling office offers the following services:

  • Individual and group counseling
  • Consultation with parents and teachers
  • Referral services for families and students
