Volunteer Opportunities

VOLUNTEERING AT CSS

Volunteering is a great way to get to know others in our community, express your interest in your child's education, and demonstrate how important they are to you. Research has shown that volunteers help create a supportive and welcoming school climate and outcomes include better behavior and performance in students. (Henderson and Mapp, 2002).

CSS has many different opportunities for parents and family members to pitch in both at school and remotely. All volunteers are equally valuable, and we are grateful for whatever time and/or talents you're able to share with us.

Here are some of the needs we have each year. Be sure to check your CSS family email for additional opportunities to help out and meet others!

BAKE SALES

We always need helping hands to make or buy delicious goodies for the PTA to sell as well as volunteers who can work a shift at our montly bake sale.

PICTURE DAY

Picture Day is run by the PTA. We needs helpers on Picture Day to keep lines moving and make sure every student looks their best.

SPIRITWEAR SALES

Volunteers are needed each month to help set up and run our spiritwear sales. Or, you can pick a day and time that works for you to come in and help us keep the Spiritwear closet organized.

SPRING FLING

The success of our annual spring auction depends on families soliciting donations from local businesses.

Make sure to check your CSS family email regularly for other volunteering opportunities througout the year.
