Founded in 2009, the Columbia Secondary School Community Garden transformed a vacant lot into a thriving school-community growing space. Located on the northeast corner of Amsterdam Avenue and 119th Street, the garden features raised beds and container growing systems, a thriving compost project, perennial beds, spaces for gathering and enjoying the garden, and garden chickens!
