Global History Teacher & Sustainability Coordinator
Professor Tiede teaches Global History II, Participation in Government, Economics, and also serves as the school's Sustainability Coordinator and Green Team mentor. She has taught middle and high school social studies for 29 years in the NYC public school system and has also worked for the New York State Audubon Society as the education manager. She is a member of the Climate Education Leadership Team and Climate and Resilience Education Task Force. Professor Tiede seeks to ensure the sustainability of life on our planet by equipping students with the knowledge, skills, and aptitudes to take action to address the most challenging issues of our complex world.
