Jonathan Lauter

Professor Lauter teaches 10th, 11th, and 12th grade engineering. Prof. Lauter holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from Hofstra University, and attended St. John's University for a M.Ed. Prof. Lauter worked for 30 years in heavy-duty internal combustion engine R&D, and continues to do occasional work in that field. He holds four patents on advanced engine technology and is also an avid semi-professional musician. Prof. Lauter enjoys introducing engineering concepts to CSS students to help them understand the increasingly technological world and perhaps inspire their interest in pursuing an engineering career.
