The Columbia Secondary School (CSS) Cheerleading teams are composed of an extremely diverse group of young ladies and men ranging from grades 6-12.  The teams show enormous courage, dedication, and hard-work by spending several hours per week learning new cheerleading routines and techniques including dances, jumps, gymnastics, and stunting. They are also very fun-loving, enthusiastic, and determined. They not only cheer at CSS sports events but also compete and partake in community and national events. Recent highlights include: the Macy's Day Parade, Ryan Center Toy Drive (which was featured on several news channels), the historical Coogan Run, and several wins at major competitions throughout New York City.
