7th Grade Spanish and Spanish level 2 and 4
I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, where I began my teaching career. I decided to enter the field of education because I simply love to teach and enjoy the energy from the students. Back in Peru I got my first master’s degree in Social Studies, which I taught for four years in a high school in Lima. In 2010 I moved permanently to New York and decided to obtain a second master’s degree in Secondary Spanish Education. New York is a very diverse city and I believe that teaching Spanish to my students can give them an edge in their future as professionals. I graduated with honors from City College in 2015 and I am very excited to continue my professional career at Columbia Secondary School. Life has taught me that even though there might be obstacles in your path, everything is possible with dedication, strength and some sacrifices, and I would like to pass on that lesson to my students.
