This section will help expand your horizons by presenting current opportunities available to you. Funding future educational endeavors can be a daunting task. Every year, higher educational expenses seem to increase. The ability to minimize, or eliminate, the cost for school increases the possibilities afforded to you.  Please take advantage of the knowledge compiled for you here:


Craig Tufts Educational Scholarship Award

Deadline: March 27

The National Wildlife Federation is accepting applications for the 6th annual Craig Tufts Educational Scholarship Award, which is given to a young person between the ages of 8 and 18 to attend a week-long summer outdoor educational adventure camp with a parent or guardian. Consider participating in the nature-themed essay contest with your students! The contest may support your English, Science and other curriculum, and it is a perfect way to commemorate National Wildlife Week (March 9-15):



Kohl’s Cares Scholarship Program

Deadline: March 13

Nominate a young volunteer for up to $10,000 in scholarships. Students must be between the ages of 6 and 18 as of March 13, 2015 and not yet a high school graduate. Winners will be chosen based on the benefits and outcomes of their volunteer service. Regional winners will receive a $1,000 scholarship for higher education. National winners will each receive a $10,000 scholarship, plus Kohl’s will donate $1,000 to a nonprofit of the student’s choice
