What personal information in my css profile is made visible to other site visitors?
No personally identifiable parent or student information is made visible to the general public without prior permission in the form of a signed waiver, typically completed during the student intake process.
Parent profile information that is visible to other CSS parents:
- Parent name(s)
- Parent primary and alternate phone number
- Child name
- CSS Email address
- Alternate Email address
- Home zip code
Parents may optionally make their entire mailing address visible to other parents.
If parents are uncomfortable with having any or all of the information above visible to other parents, please contact Andrew Stillman at andrewstillman@columbiasecondary.org and we can discuss adjustments to site design.
Presently, students may not view their own or another student's parent contact information, however they may view other student's CSS email address, "about me" section, and current elementary school. Please ensure the privacy of other parents by keeping separate login passwords for parent and student accounts.

Know that certain designated parent contact officers affiliated with the CSS Parents' Association, such as the PA Secretary, may be granted the ability to view and download all home address information for the purposes of putting school mailings together.
Important: It is an abuse of this website and unacceptable to publicly share another person's personally identifiable information gathered from a private area of the site. We seek to respect each other's privacy while creating an open school community that communicates well! Please also help make this same expectation clear to our children.
