Profs. Hill and Thomson Present Our Philosophy Program at Oxford
At the end of March, Professor Hill and Dr. Thomson traveled to Oxford University in England to make a presentation about CSS-MSE's unique middle school philosophy program at the annual meeting of the Philosophy of Education Society of Great Britain. CSS-MSE is one of the few schools in the United States with a middle school philosophy program. The presentation focused on the roles of philosophy and theatre in the school's curriculum, and a short film taken during philosophy class was shown. The presentation was attended by scholars from around the world, and much interest in our school was expressed.
