The CSS Culture Vultures

A group of students, parents and faculty looking to organize optional, informal weekend field trips and cultural experiences in and around NYC.

Our aim is to create an enriching way for students to spend time together outside the classroom, and for families and faculty to better get to know one another.

Parents and Staff:  To recommend a trip for an upcoming weekend date, post a forum topic using this format for the title:

Name of Activity, Date, Time, Location

ex) Design for the Other 90%, Sat. 9/22, 1-3PM, Cooper-Hewitt Museum, 91st and 5th Ave.

In the body of your post...give all the juicy details you want, including the cost, as well as anything that people should bring. If you are web savvy, include a link to a website that provides more info about the activity.

Lastly, just to be clear: transportation, supervision, and expenses on these informal trips is the responsibility of the parents or guardians who are choosing to be involved.  CSS staff participation is voluntary, and the school is not to be held legally responsible for any issues that might arise from student participation.
